The refrigerant designed for direct expansion chillers

Kryon® 422D is an easy-to-use and non-ozone depleting HFC refrigerant. It was develop in order to replace R-22 in already existing direct expansion water refrigerators.

Applications

Kryon® 422D in used in home and commercial air conditioning, in direct expansion water refrigerators and in food processing and preservation.

Performance

  • Kryon® 422D allows easy, fast and favourable conversion.
  • It allows the continuous use of existing plants.
  • A lower delivery temperature compared to R-22.
  • It is possible to fill the system up during the service, without having to remove the whole refrigerant charge.

Recommended Lubricants

Kryon® 422D is compatible with new and traditional lubricants (mineral oil, alkylbenzene or polyester). 
Most of the time changing the lubricant during the conversion is not necessary.
