Making an order through GENERAL GAS e-commerce platform is very easy:
- Choose the product you are interested in;
- Add the product to the cart;
- Choose the payment method you prefer among those provided and send your order through.
Following are more detailed instructions.
How to add products to the cart
Search for the product browsing our website. Once you have found the product and selected the desired quantity, click on the “Add to cart” button. You can then continue shopping on the website and add more products to the cart or proceed to checkout.
Change the order
As mentioned, it is possible to indicate the desired product quantity directly from the product sheet typing in a number in the specific textbox. Such quantity can be changed at any time editing the value in the specific textbox in the cart. Once your changes are done, just click on the “Update” button. On the other hand, if you wish to remove the product from your buying list, you just have to click the “X” button you’ll find on the right beside the product in the cart.
To proceed to checkout and go to the next step, click on “Proceed to checkout”. If you weren’t already authenticated, you’ll be redirected to the login form.
You can log in through one of the following:
- User already registered;
- Purchase without registration (Guest Checkout);
- First time registration (Create a new account).
User already registered
If you have already made purchases on GENERAL GAS e-commerce platform, you’ll just have to enter your personal credentials (e-mail address and password) chosen at the first registration during first purchase.
Purchase without registration (Guest Checkout)
If you don’t want to use personal data, you can buy products without registering. You’ll be asked only the relevant data to fulfil your purchase.
First time registration (Create a new account)
You will be asked to fill in the customer registration form and choose your credentials (e-mail address and password). Further orders will require to type in only your credentials without filling in again the registration form.
Now you can proceed to checkout.
Following are the information you will be asked for:
- Shipping:Enter your invoice address. If the shipping address is different from the invoice address, fill in the shipment form as well. Click on “Next” to go to the next step.
- Payment method:Select your preferred payment method (credit card, bank transfer, cash on delivery). Click on “Next”.
- Confirmation:Once the payment is made, you will be shown a summary with your invoice address, select products, order grand total and payment method. If everything looks correct, click on “Complete the order”.
