Delivery method

Shipment can be carried out via express courier (quick shipment method) or via GENERAL GAS carrier (standard shipment method), according to user selection.

Shipment and delivery time

GENERAL GAS guarantee shipment within a time interval between 48 and 72 hours, according to product availability and select payment method. Quick deliveries are those paid online with credit card and/or PayPal.

Shipment time can vary with different payment methods. For example, if a deferred payment method is chosen, such as a bank transfer, shipment date can be pushed back a few days as these orders are processed when the payment is received.

Once the order is processed, the product will be handed to the courier for delivery within 2 working days (48h for quick shipment) or 4 working days (96 hours for standard delivery).
Couriers and GENERAL GAS carriers don’t deliver on Saturdays, Sundays and holydays.

Shipment cost

Shipment costs vary with the weight of the package to ship and is highlighted separately in the cart.

In the total weight, the tare weight (container) will be considered. This operation will be automatically carried out during the making of the order.

Shipment cost is shown while completing the order before the customer confirmation.

Shipment tracking

You can track your shipment at any time. If you are registered, log in to the GENERAL GAS e-commerce platform at www.generalgas.it.

Once logged in, click on “My orders” at the top right and then on the order number you want to check. Under “Shipment details” you will find the link for tracking information.

If you aren’t registered don’t worry.

In the shipment confirmation e-mail you will find a link to access tracking information.

 

Always remember:

 

  • To check that the number of packages delivered is correct on the transport document;
  • To check that the package is intact and the duct-tape not tampere In case of anomalies or damages we advise to accept the parcel but write on the delivery receipt: “Accepted subject verification” reporting the observed anomalies.
